Regular audit of all HSE performance indicators are conducted to determine ways of improvement.

Based on the foregoing, several HSE milestones have been achieved all through the period of Moni Pulo’s existence to date:
Among others, the British Safety Council has conducted Safety Audit of our Agbani FPF; Spill Contingency Activation exercises have been carried out; Environmental Assessment Study (EES) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies have been conducted over our areas of exploration.

In 2008, an accident free 2,000,000 man-hour with no lost time injury (NLTI) was achieved. Earlier, in 2005, a safety audit conducted by the British Safety Council (BSC) earned Agbani FPF and OML 114 a 4 Star Safety Award.

In compliance with the provision in Moni Pulo HSE management system, effective response plans are developed and maintained to deal with any foreseeable emergency in line with MPL’s Emergency Preparedness Emergency Response Plans. Such plans included Agbani FPF plan, Knock Adoon Plan, and Medivac Plan for Drilling Activities which are site specific and reviewed periodically in line with plant/process manning and organizational changes.

Emergency Response training needs for all personnel and contractors are identified, implemented and updated regularly. Response procedures are constantly reviewed and personnel, contractors and visitors are made aware of them in the event of any emergencies.
